Background
Shed's debut album for 50 Weapons is his 3rd in total.
His first "Shedding The Past" was a collection of tracks recorded over a long period of time. The follow up "The Traveller" was the first concept album, produced in one go. In hindsight according to his own words maybe a bit overambitious, Shed was combining all his influences into a melange of genres from dubstep to techno, bass, ambient and idm.
"The Killer" was produced in March 2012. Aimed to be more homogeneous, the album is first and foremost a true techno love story.
The album title has nothing in common with serial killers, war or military. It is simply a bold statement. The album is "the killer"!
